It's getting harder and harder to get on DA and catch up with everything that's going on. I'd definitely like to spend more time here, browse more galleries, make friends with more artists, and the like. However, aside from work and classes I've also taken up a teaching apprenticeship, and then there's my senior thesis! Wait, wasn't I just working on my junior thesis the other day? Where is the time going? The days are flying by!

Anyway, I'm glad to have been here for a year now! I've enjoyed it a lot! Just browsing through the art works here have encouraged me to improve my own skills. I have also found many works that have inspired me in my own creations.

For me this has become a place to show my artwork where it won't be snubbed as cheap little tricks or meaningless sketches that don't amount to much. It really means a lot to me when someone says they honestly like my work, or when they give me an honest critique for improvement.

Studying art is great, but my professors seem to encourage the abstract arts. And that is not really my style. I feel free to share my own style here. That's why I love it so much.
